Almond

While the tree farming project was being carried out, almond gardens were established in Gelibolu and Karacabey in order to create a source of income in a shorter time. In 2015, a small amount of fruit started to be purchased, and in 2022, 10 tons of almonds were produced. Almond production will continue to increase every year. The almonds produced are marketed as shelled or kernel almonds.
